I know there are many threads on this forum related to battery issues, but I haven’t come across any concerning the following. I have a Kobo forma and when it is completely switched off my battery still drains around 2% a day; after fully charging it and switching if off it only had 90% battery left activating it after 5 days. 7 days later (12 days in total) and having it switched off and not using it nor switching it on in the meantime it was down to 73%. Is there anybody who has a clue what might be causing the problem? I have my current Kobo for over a year now, the last six months I have been charging it via my laptop. I have WiFi switched off all the time, though I do update the firmware now and then, I currently the latest version. The only thing that I could come up with and might be an potential issue is that I used to charge my kobo the first six months with a regular charger for my old Samsung smart phone, but surely this cannot be the reason for my current battery issue?
