That's a good question. Of course, if you're going to ask that, you might also ask why they call it blue when on first (and second...and third...) glance it appears black. The RC doesn't actually make sense for the red one, if you factor in that they call the color "Sangria".
But, yes, there are no known differences between the various 505 submodels (besides color).
