[Viewer] Footnote not popping up if pointer having no class

Dear Kovid,

Today I encountered a footnote case: the footnote pops up alright in Reasily (Android) and Marvin (iOS) but not in Calibre Viewer. I did some comparison and found out that the reason why, I assume, is that the footnote pointer has no class. I manually added a class to the link and to css file, and it works. Please note that if the class selecor is blank or unavailable in css file, it doesn't pop up either.

I use now a modified test file prepared by Doistu @ MR as an example. This test file doesn't work (footnote not popping up) because the .footnote is blank.

Edit: I think the css selector must contain vertical-align property to make it work.

Regards.
