It doesn't matter if you use list view or covers. You have to turn on the "Home Screen View" in the settings under device options. There you get the currently reading, reading lists, recommendations, next book in series to download, based on your reading, editors picks, etc. It changes what you see. And it depends on what you use. Like I get show whats on my amazon wishlists where I add books to them.
If I can catch it the start of next month, I'll take a picture of it. Unlike the app, its not something I can pull up at anytime on the kindle. they kind of rotate through what they show on those 2 pages on the home view.
