I agree with you about most of the characters being pissed off and wanting revenge, but I'm OK with books about angry people.

Yes, that's right, thanks! I've loved other books by her, so it didn't put me off her as an author, but that series disappointed me.
How odd, I remember reading A Secret History and Grunts, but I guess it was in paperback. Well both the omnibus book Ash and Grunts are available as eBooks for only $4 so why not.
