@Kovid - The rebuild database didn't have any effect. But, when I tried using a fresh configuration folder the problem went away.

This might give a clue - the Identifiers category has a similar singular top level entry, I expand the Identifiers list even less than Formats. All the other TB categories are fine - and there's a lot of them in my Test and Media libraries. I'll attach my L&F Tab Browser settings.

I'm not sure what & where to look for config settings that effect the TB/Formats - any suggestions. I don't really want to redo all my preferences from scratch.
