Glad to hear Rumpel is feeling a little better. Peter, I hope you get your lens soon! I'm not looking forward to the day I'll be old enough for cataract surgery.
Most people I've known who had cataract surgery were probably in their 70's but I've known some in their 60's and one in his 50's. I'm in my 50's now so who knows when my turn will come....
