Argh! I'd had cataract surgery on my left eye mid December. I also wear hard contact lenses so haven't had one in the left eye for over 2 months.

Yesterday I had an appointment for eye tests and to order a new lens for the left eye. Since I will also need cataract surgery in the right eye we didn't order a right lens.

Just as I had left the optometrist the right lens popped out on to my cheek. No problem, caught it and reinserted it.

This morning I was getting set to pick up clients for our Adult Day Program and.... the lens popped out again, although this time not onto my cheek. It's now officially AWOL

Have left a message at the optometrist asking them to order a right lens as well (and put a rush on it). Now to search the house and see if I can get lucky and find an old right lens at home.

Can I say #### ***** $$$$$ &&&&&& in this forum?

UPDATE: Have found an old right lens. Now to soak it for a few hours, clean it and try it.

And yes the optometrist's office is working on the lenses for me
