Another night of only two hours sleep.

I just called the doctor and the assistant first tried to tell me to get a certain medicine and try that for a couple of days. But I've already been through two boxes of that stuff and it doesn't do much. She said it couldn't be hay fever with the rain we've had yesterday. She didn't know what else I could use to stop the coughing. The basic message I got was that I just should live with it until it magically disappears. Eventually she agreed to have my doctor call me between noon and one pm. She can decide whether she wants to see me or not.

I'm now going to make a list of all the things I tried and which didn't work.

I thought about it that maybe something sharp is stuck at the back of my throat, that's how it felt during the night. But I don't think that's likely since the irritated area differs, sometime at the top of my throat, sometimes at the bottom, now the itch has moved deeper it feels.

I do hope I can find/get something that works. I'm just so incredibly tired. For all I can I get sleeping pills prescribed that knock me out at night.
