I agree with all of the above except for 'gifted'. I once worked for a grants program and we would use 'gifted' in an official context to allow the recipients to keep whatever assets they had purchased with the grant money. At the end of a successful project, we would 'gift' the assets to the grantee. Yes, 'given' works well but 'gifted' sounds more rewarding for a job well done.

My current pet peeve is 'To be honest'. I seem to hear it tacked onto the end of everything these days. Why would I assume you are not telling the truth anyway?

I still loathe '24/7'. It is useful shorthand but, Lord, is it overdone.

'I don't hear 'At the end of the day' enough to get annoyed but it obviously annoyed someone. I love this compilation clip.
