That does suck. For what it's worth, from my own personal stash of emailed coupons, I've noticed that the 25% off DO seem to consistently work even if expired.
Others have said they think individual accounts may be limited to using the higher codes once per year per account? I have a 50% code from last year that I'm waiting to try this year, still need to wait a few months to see if it works.
