No, I didn’t mean serial at all (if you crack it open, that’s it, you can’t put it back as new).

I mean this scenario:
1) Suppose initially your KOA2 was on 5.9.0.6 out of factory (and it is 5.9.4 for KOA, just KOA, not KO1)
2) Then, the first guy to purchase it managed to do JB
3) Then they either a) just updated to 5.12.x; OR b) they did multiple updates, but after EACH of such updates they properly applied the hotfix to restore JB, but didn’t do/forgot to do for the *last* (most recent) update to 5.12.x

ONLY in these two cases you have chances to restore JB on these devices by applying the hotfix.
