Sorry for the repeat (I've said this before) but: I really loved this book. Enough that I paid full kindle price for the 2nd and 3rd in the trilogy. And several years later, bought all 3 books in the subsequent series "Tawny Man" trilogy and then later also the "Fitz and the Fool" trilogy.

Their sale price netted them 8 other purchases!
