Possible Metadata editor issue
Have 4.9.1 and selected 10 books. When I click edit metadata individually it opens the bulk metadata editor.

When I only select one book it opens properly with no issues.

Note I am using the portable version running from a USB3 SSD on my Windows 10 laptop. Updated from 4.6
