Yes, but there's a huge difference between and editorialist giving his opinion in an editorial, and a nominal reporter giving his opinion and billing it as
news.
I agree that there's nothing wrong with editorializing (and didn't mean to suggest otherwise
). But there is something wrong with trying to pretend that editorializing is
reporting, it's inherently dishonest.
A review necessarily includes some subjective stuff, as it's trying to put the facts in a graspable context, but it shouldn't be
all subjective.
