For me it would be for Amazon.com to acknowledge that kindlepid.py (the version that works with the iPod/iPhone) and version 2 of kindlefix.py are ok to be used and Amazon will never use the DMCA against these two programs. And then for Amazon.com to give every person who has posted in this thread a free K2.
