My main use of Calibre is running the native linux version in Linux Mint. I download & transfer by USB ebooks bought from Amazon (so that all works fine purely in Linux). And now that ADE is working fine in Crossover Linux , I download the occasional epub/pdf to ADE (also in linux).

As I believe I said earlier my main OS is Linux Mint, and has been for 10 years. I'm not about to change it just for this issue (now resolved)!
