sorry, I did not realise there is one - but in my defence, I'm not the one who needs it....

that one was written in 2011, years before amazon created this issue ( of devices defaulting to usb charging only and expecting user to spot an alert).
[ it happens also to smartphones running android 6, but not a lot of folks here use USB connections to read books on those ]
so it needs modifying.
also, the question is more often asked in the Kindle - fire subforum
