I could not care less about quality. What I care about is whether I enjoy the book or not. Yes, I'm aware of all those faults in Maas' writing, but I enjoy it nevertheless. Possibly even because of those faults. Strict political correctness in fiction is boring to me. But then, I tend to enjoy totally different things in real life and in fiction.
