I seem to have the same issue. The eraser at the back of the pen works flawlessly. The side-button eraser function is very spotty. Most of the time it doesn't work; it seems to work if I lower the pen onto the screen very slowly while holding the button. If I do it quickly, or draw a line, it just draws a black line, as if the button was not pressed.
Is it a faulty pen, or a faulty reader? Could this be fixed?
I'll appreciate all hints and suggestions.
