I didn't know they advertised "open" as a selling point. I figured for a while that they dimply hadn't bothered to locked it down, but I guess that's not the case. Kindle and Sony before them go to a lot of trouble locking stuff down. Nook is also pretty open. Thank heavens for open stuff. You say Kobo handle pdf well, but I doubt it works as well as koreader. Fortunately Kobo is open and can run koreader.
