My apologies for being late to the thread.
That said, in case it hasn't blown over, the public education in manners needs to cease. Rudeness is a violation of the guidelines, so when it's detected, please report the post and let an editor handle it. Don't play Emily Post. Those who do may be surprised that the rudeness is judged to emanate from a different source than they thought, and much closer to home.
