I don't see a Kindle on the attached to the computer list
BUT
your Calibre is really old, so even IF it was detected,Calibre might not recognize that it was there. Use the Official Calibre download, not the distro release

BTW with Linux-Calibre , you can only have 1 MTP device attached at any time.
