It just occurred to me it's the last work day in september, and
1 - 2.7 was "planned" for end of september,
2 - the "
consumer version" of the Iliad with extended functionality was originally announced for september
Plus the Sony Reader started shipping, and it has all the software/bookstore features that were announced for the Iliad.
So I guess
something has to happen today. (I guess it will be the announcement of a georgeous plan with release date December '06; I just don't know what the plan will be
)
