If you are interested in running from source, here you have the instructions. But, as said, no need for that. When 4.6 get released, this will work automatically (just be sure to use calibre style on Preferences > Look and feel).

Hi, I read through this thread and I'm still not sure: is the dark mode supposed to work when style is set to system default on windows now?
On my windows 10, dark mode works when I'm using calibre style in look and feel, but not when I use system default.
