And there I thought the 3 laws of iPod where:
1. Make buying the song and putting it on the player as reliable as dropping a hammer in a 1G gravity field and having it hit the floor: you aren't surprised when the song gets on the player.
2. Give customers something they perceive of as value for their money, rather than what the labels think of as enough money.
3. DRM the content so people don't give in to temptation and start giving it away, but don't make the DRM so intrusive it interferes with "value for money".
No one has really accomplished this for books, so far. We'll see when I get my Sony Reader...
