Thanks, I posted here because I also have the Kobo_WiFi_N647_v1.9.zip image file necessary to bring my other kobo back to life but I haven't attempted to do it yet. This video makes it seems like it is a pretty straightforward process to flash the kobo sd card (if that is the correct term).

If anyone has succeeded in flashing the old kobo wireless sd card and has any tips it would be appreciated.
