Yes, the battery is fully charged (~ 4V), and I haven't had any problems with it so far. It is a pity because it is a really cool device even nowadays. The worst thing is that until I did a factory reset everything worked perfectly :-(

Mini has an internal sd card and it's easy to fix. My reader unfortunately does not have such a card.
