What were your favorite reads of 2019?
I can never pick just one book or even series as so much depends on my mood

And though I do read a lot of new releases, I also read a lot of backlist so I don’t limit myself to this year’s releases. I just limit myself to books I’ve read this calendar year.

There were about a dozen more books I rated at B+ that I would also consider favorites, but (a) that’s because I tend to hold my autobuy (and thus favorite authors) to a higher standard, (b) a B or B+ is still a good grade to me, it just means I had more issues with the plot or main characters than with an A read, NOT that I didn’t enjoy the book and (c) I figured 29 is a large enough list. So only my five star reads for the year are listed here.
