I could write a document on my Max Carta using a BT keyboard and an old Kingsoft Office version, but not open that document on my laptop I had copied on it (using the cable).
It was solved this way:

I clicked on the document on my laptop and chose to open it with my free word-processor Jarte. Jarte gave the message that it could not open it because a Microsoft program "Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor" was missing, and gave a link to were it could be downloaded, which I did. After installing it opening that document on my laptop with Jarte worked fine.
