The term factory firmware has been defined ever since there was such a thing and that was before there were Kindles. That was back in the day of the Sony Reader PRS-505. So please, pick a different term that you can assign the meaning you want instead of trying to correct a term that already have a different meaning that is still in use.
I am correct in terms of what factory firmware means. It's the use of factory firmware for Kindles that's wrong. The meaning of factory firmware is what I said it was, not what's been said in this thread by others.
