my newest Clara landed and it's all setup, updated, and patched. I want to thank everyone here again for the amazing work on the patches and various instructions on things, dictionaries, etc. it was such a breeze to configure the new device like my previous one.
I've noticed small and relatively unimportant differences between the two devices. the color on the newest one is a little more white white even with natural added in. the same font - Gil Sans - is not as dark on the highest weight setting as my original Clara, perhaps due to the lighting. I'll need to look for a new font for the bedroom device, maybe for both. other than those things, no real difference. another day and time I might have preferred the whiter white of the new one, but I've already adapted to the previous device's slightly less white white so the new one seems weird. lol
the new one also updated immediately to the latest firmware 4.19.14123, which made patching all the more easy.
very happy to have a bedroom reader again. strength and energy are at a premium so not having to go back and forth to get my reader is a big help.
