A few items of interest (to me, at least) in today's Kindle US Daily Deal, some matched at Kobo US, all at $1.99 unless otherwise mentioned.

Sidney Chambers and The Problem of Evil is the third in the Grantchester series by James Runcie - these, with the exception of the first, don't go on sale very often, and are pretty expensive in the US when not on sale

Sidney Chambers and The Shadow of Death is the first in the series, which does go on sale pretty often, but since Problem is on sale, I thought I'd post this too, in case someone wants to try the first one first. Only on sale at Kindle US, at least right now.

One Step Behind is the seventh in the Kurt Wallander series by Henning Mankell. Not (yet?) matched at Kobo US.

Who's Sorry Now? is the second in the Lady Adelaide series by Maggie Robinson. Although set in totally different settings, the blurb reminds me a little bit of Helen Chappell's Hollis Ball/Sam Wescott series, where a deceased husband comes back to haunt his former wife - and, of course, help solve mysteries. On another note, I'm not used to seeing Poisoned Pen Press books as part of the Daily Deal, nor even really on sale that much. I may have to add a few PPP authors to my eReaderIQ list...

Warriors is a compilation of stories about, well, warriors. It's edited by George R.R. Martin of Game of Thrones fame, but I'm including it here because it purports to include a new Lord John Grey story by Diana Gabaldon (of Outlander fame, Lord John is a minor character in the Outlander series, but stars in his own much shorter mystery series). Also says it has original stories by a bunch of other authors including Steven Saylor - although I don't think anyone would call Gordianus the Finder a warrior, so this story may not be in that series. I haven't read this collection of stories, so all this info is from the blurb, so take with a grain of salt...
