I've only purchased one book from Amazon since I got my Kindle2. On the other hand I've purchased about 45 books (~$105) at Baen Books in the last three weeks and have had to sternly take myself to task to limit that spending.

I've read about 25 of those as well as several free books from here, Amazon, and Tor so far and I am not allowing myself any new purchases until I am down to ten or so.

BTW I am not sure but I think that if you read a LOT (2-3 books a day) you can run down your batteries much faster than advertised. I have not been able to exceed a week without a recharge with even with WiFi off.
