You are confusing me
If the font is properly embedded (includes CSS entry) in the book, the render device can use it (if it supports: Publishers font enabled).
AFAIK devices will NOT just use a font that has been installed on the device (each device can have unique methods IF it is even supported)

Are you trying to Extract a font from a book? U(npack) the book and copy the files (cancel the unpack when the copy is done) if the font copyright permits this type of use.
