It's not a radio drama/play. It's the book being read with multiple people. The author read all the narration and the others read the various bits for the characters. There are no sound effects. If you take all the "he said/she said" out of the book, then you no longer have an unabridged audiobook. Also no longer suitable for immersive reading as the spoken word doesn't match the written word once you make an abridged version for the audiobook.
