That's another issue. I've seen non-genuine replacement Nokia 3310 batteries catch fire. Heck, even genuine batteries aren't immune but at least there are recall programs for those. Hence, I'd only be comfortable buying genuine replacement batteries which, alas, may not be available depending on device age.
