I just tried starting to use my Max2Pro as an external monitor - it worked surprisingly well on my Mac Mini with direct HDMI out in Text mode, for word processing. But I can't get it to work properly through a USB-C hub with HDMI out on either the Mini, or my Macbook 12, which needs the hub. The usual error messages pop up, and the computer images can be seen for a second, before the screen greys out, and the Monitor app needs to be restarted.
Has anyone had success in using a USB-C hub with HDMI out between Mac and Onyx devices, and could you kindly post the hub's model?
