I did not even read the command. I just cut and pasted it. I feel like a total idiot.
Anyway, I did it, but it did not work.
When you say "You need to replace /path/to/ebook/file with the path to an actual ebook file on your system" what do you mean? The actual .mobi file is the following path:
~/documents/ebooks/<author>/<book title>/<filename>.mobi

I tried this for one book, but the name of the <book title> folder as it appears in Finder has a (2) after it. Terminal will not allow the "(" to be used.

Also, assuming there is a way to make this command work, am I going to have to do it for every single book? That would take forever.
