there's a perfectly good netflix app, which gives full HD 1920 x 1200 (I have tested) in the the amazon app store for free.

so you don't need the google store version ( though where exactly do you see not compatible ?) *
the amazon store version has all the latest features, including download for offline, 10 sec skips...
and it could be that the amazon app has has a specific dispensation to stream at full HD
netflix from play store on many tablets , not specifically white-listed) is only at 720p
that is something I check for before buying and both my Huawei & my lenovo do stream at full HD ( but some of the flagship Samsung S2, 3, 4 do not! - go figure )

ps I did read in one HD 10 review, but I dont believe it, that amazon say installing google apps voids the warranty . So i guess you play safe & remove them if ever you need to return them. Probably that reviewer got confused with rooting ( which is un-necessary but which probably does void a warranty)
