speaking for myself only, I like seeing the covers because it makes it more like a real book. I like the book experience but can't read them and haven't been able to since early on. too hard to hold due to weight, poor vision, etc. the covers are like a blankey. it's a comfort factor. they make me feel warm and fuzzy while I'm reading. and when I start a book, I start on the cover; when I end a book I go back to the cover. I like the artwork, in general. I search out better covers and place them and convert so I have the best possible experience on my devices.

think of it like this. when you read a book book and you take a break you put a bookmark and close the book. it's kind of like doing that for me. it makes me and we all need more smiles in our lives.
