Is there any way to set it up on the old Mac, and then transfer the relevant files to the new Mac to use? And if so, what needs to be transferred? Thanks!
Sure. Install calibre and the older kindle version on the old mac, convert the book to mobi. Then use calibre on the new mac to load the mobi file. If both computers are not on the same network use a flash drive to transfer the mobi file.
