Yes,
The Binding is certainly an interesting concept. Within it people muse about the possibility of fiction (as we know it) and how it could possibly compare to the real stories bound from people's actual lives.
But this is one of those books where the description is both perfectly accurate and mostly useless. To tell more is to give details away. It's not fast paced but I found it a fascinating and compulsive read. There are some oddities about the way it is told, but they work (or did for me).

Thanks. I do find C.S. Lewis interesting - despite my lack of affinity for religion. I wonder how much of this I've read elsewhere. It seems likely to be a book that owes much (good or bad) to its editors. The description seems to suggest that the original or earlier title for the book might have been "How to Read".
