Hello,

so last week I bought a used kindle paperwhite (PW3) off of Facebook marketplace. I registered it to my account and set everything up (accidentally updated to 5.12.2 in the process). The first thing I noticed was that it came with special offers. A quick hop onto amazon's support chat and Amazon removed the special offers for me. Two days ago I serial jailbroke the device and put it into airplane mode - I exclusively sideload books using calibre anyways.

Now, annoyingly the "All" tab of the homescreen shows all books in my amazon library, even the ones not on the device. These include books I don't need anymore or that are not intended for the kindle (non-fiction books for example). How can I clean the "All" tab of the kindle from these unwanted books while keeping the device fully offline?

I thought about resetting the device to stock but then I would need to connect back online to register and use the device, wouldn't I? That would bring the content straight back.

What about the special offers? Would they return once I reset the device to stock (since the unit came with special offers from the factory) or are they disabled for good?

Since the unit is jailbroken, is there something I can do that way in order to remove "unwanted" books from the library list?
