If it remains frozen try connecting to a different USB port on your PC. But first reboot your PC if it hasn't been rebooted since this problem happened. Can you see your Kindle files in your file manager? I would also try removing the book you were reading and your most recent (book) download.

Still no joy? Then you could see if an update will clean things up. You can manually download a Kindle firmware update from your computer then transfer it to the root directory of your Kindle, then restart it by holding down the power switch again. The update will automatically install when your Kindle restarts.
I just tried the first and second step.
* - I left charging the kindle battery for 21 hs, I did all types of reset and none worked.
- I tried to use another USB (my cell phone) on another PC (my brother's). in none of them he reads his memory, nor does he make the sound of windows when a pendrive or some type of memory is connected. It simply does not give any type of response, continue with gelado as always. The only thing that works for my kindle is the orange light until it changes to green to warn that the battery is charged and for the restart when I keep it pressed for a long time and flickers.
-The last step could work without the PC detecting the connected device?
I return to my theory that there must be some way to reset the device from the motherboar as I have seen in the photo of another kindle, but its motherboard is completely different.
