it's an old story.

we've all seen how the music industry lost the fight for the consumers because pirates offered the content cheaper, faster and more convenient.

and we see how sugarbread and whipes don't work, because people, when they see that there's an alternative to artificial scarcity, well, they just don't look back. Which is, somehow, a real pity, because someone still has to produce the content. And proofread/record.

Somehow the concept must change from buying to own something physical to paying the creator for the work.
