Thank you for your suggestions. Two more questions:
- how do I find my firmware version (without having access to the menu)?
- how can I install a firmware update? As I understand it, you download a binary file, place it in the kindle's main folder and install it FROM THE MENU. This last step is impossible for me.
Any more ideas?
