Hi Kovid,

Firstly, at the outset, I would like to say that Caibre is a wonderful product but it is beginning to show its age in terms look and feel. Secondly I think that the latest version is a step backwards especially with the book reader. I have actually uninstalled version 4 and have gone back to version 3 because is so buggy. The main issue that I have with it is that it does not play well with mixed DPI. I have a laptop with an attached high resolution monitor. Opening the reader on the monitor displays no content at all. I can drag the window back to the laptop and all is good again. I was also dependent on a text-speech plugin (I am visually impaired) that no longer works with the new reader. I had at one stage used MS edge as my reader but it looks like Microsoft will drop epub support going forward. An ideal solution would be built-in support for text to speech. In fact more support for assistive features.
