Personally, I don't see anything wrong with using a blacklisted Kindle--especially if Amazon is aware that the Kindle is still in circulation and they haven't requested it to be returned to them. If the device is semi-functional and someone wants to use it, why not? It makes no sense to me to add more electronic waste to our landfill by trashing a device that works for someone.
