And… you can toggle show/hide the toolbar with Ctrl/F11 (same as old viewer). When I'm looking at a book I like to have the toolbar, but if I'm reading a book I don't… no idea why?

IMO, apart from Search, the new viewer is now as good or better than the old viewer. Kovid is working on improvements to Search. What I miss most is history.
